Julie Cohen - Portrait & Watercolour artist
I have been painting and drawing since early childhood and I especially love to paint flowers, landscapes, animals and people. My commissioned watercolour paintings and pencil portraits capture family memories, unique snapshots of children, timeless pictures of beloved pets or an everlasting portrait of a treasured home, car or garden.
I have a particular interest in watercolour portraits, with and without ink, and pencil drawings using graphite pencils.
Please take a look around my galleries featuring finished commissions of watercolour paintings and pencil portraits.
Unfortunately I am currently unable to take commissions but would suggest that you visit MyArtBrief where you will find a selection of artists who take commissions using different media.
Thank you for visiting my website.
Not sure how to thank you enough for the marvellous painting of [our house]. The detail is incredible and we were quite overwhelmed.
Beautiful paintings, full of life and happiness.
A fabulous talent for flowers and portraits.
We wanted to thank you again for the beautiful (and completely spot on) portrait of our son. It has pride of place on the wall in our lounge and we can’t stop looking at it!
The expression captures his essence and sweetness entirely. The colours and the artistry are beyond compare.
My parents still love this picture. We hope it brings you more business worthy of your incredible talent!
Fabulous botanical paintings.
Wonderful talent, especially in portraits.
I’ve now commissioned Julie twice: a painting of my parent’s house for their 60th Wedding Anniversary and a pencil drawing of a friend’s cat (who has now sadly passed) for her 50th Birthday. Both recipients have been overwhelmed by how Julie has captured the subjects perfectly and they now have pride of place on their walls. I’d recommend Julie to anyone looking to give a personalised gift to someone which they can treasure.
We received the portrait today and all I can say is WOW! Thank you, thank you thank you!
